City of Norcross

The City of Norcross is the municipal government of Norcross in Gwinnett County, Georgia. A mayor and five-member council set city policy, while a city manager directs daily operations across municipal departments. The city provides police, public works, planning, court, parks and other local services for residents and businesses. Norcross operates its own electric utility as part of the Municipal Electric Authority of Georgia, a distinctive function among its municipal responsibilities. Founded as a railroad town in 1870, the city also manages historic and public spaces tied to its downtown.
