City of North Miami

The City of North Miami is the municipal government serving North Miami in Miami-Dade County, Florida. It operates under a council-manager form of government, with an elected mayor and council appointing a city manager to direct daily operations and implement municipal policy. Four council districts provide representation for neighborhoods across the city. Its departments administer permitting and development review, public works, utility billing, police services, parks and recreation, library programs, and housing and social services for residents and businesses. City Hall at 776 NE 125th St. houses the city manager’s office and the mayor and council offices, including the council chambers.
