City of Stevens Point

The City of Stevens Point is the municipal government for Stevens Point, the Portage County seat in central Wisconsin. A mayor and Common Council oversee city policy, ordinances and the budget. City departments administer elections, records and licensing; planning and community development; streets and public works; parks, recreation and forestry; and public safety through police and fire/EMS services. The city also lists transit and public utilities, including water and wastewater services. Its administrative offices are at City Hall, 1515 Strongs Ave. The government serves residents and businesses within the city, though some individual programs may have wider service arrangements.
