Clinton County, Iowa

Clinton County is the county government for a stretch of eastern Iowa along the Mississippi River. The city of Clinton is the county seat and largest community, while DeWitt, Camanche and several smaller towns form part of the county’s civic and economic network. Agriculture, manufacturing, river transportation and regional services have shaped the area’s development.
