Coweta County Water and Sewerage Authority

The Coweta County Water and Sewerage Authority is a public utility serving unincorporated Coweta County and parts of the Newnan area in west-central Georgia. Created to develop regional water infrastructure, it supplies drinking water to more than 31,000 customer accounts and provides sewer service to several thousand customers. The authority operates treatment, storage, pumping and distribution facilities across a county experiencing sustained residential and commercial growth. Its wastewater system includes collection lines, lift stations and treatment capacity serving selected development areas. Customer service, water-quality monitoring, system maintenance and long-range capital planning are also central parts of its work.
