ENGlobal Corporation

ENGlobal Corporation was a Houston-based engineering and automation company serving commercial energy and government customers. Its work included engineering, procurement, automation design, systems integration and technical support for industrial facilities. The company’s government services business also designed and maintained control, analytical and data-gathering systems. Its principal executive office at the time of the 2024 incident was at 11740 Katy Freeway in Houston. ENGlobal and its domestic subsidiaries entered Chapter 11 bankruptcy in March 2025. Gulf Island Fabrication subsequently acquired assets of its automation business in May and its engineering and government services businesses in June 2025.
