Gadsden Independent School District

Gadsden Independent School District is a public school system serving communities in southern Doña Ana and Otero counties in New Mexico. Its schools provide education from prekindergarten through 12th grade across a region along the U.S.-Mexico border that includes the Rio Grande valley and adjoining mesa lands. The district operates educational facilities and administrative centers, with its Gadsden Administrative Center on McNutt Road. An elected school board governs the district. Academic and student programs include career and technical education, special education, language services and counseling, supported by district transportation and nutrition services.
