Glynn County School District

Glynn County School District, also known as Glynn County Schools, is the public school system serving Brunswick and Georgia’s Golden Isles community. It operates elementary, middle and high schools, including Brunswick High School and Glynn Academy, along with early learning and career education programs. Its instructional services include special education, gifted education, fine arts and career and technical education. The district also manages school transportation, meals, facilities and student safety. An elected board of education sets district policy, supported by the superintendent and administrative teams. The system traces its public education history to 1788 and maintains partnerships with local employers and community organizations.
