Heywood Healthcare

Heywood Healthcare is a community-owned health system serving north central Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. Its network includes Heywood Hospital in Gardner, Athol Hospital in Athol and Heywood Medical Group, along with regional outpatient facilities. The hospitals provide acute, emergency, diagnostic and specialty care, while affiliated physicians offer primary and specialty services. Heywood Hospital is a 134-bed acute care facility, and Athol Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital. The system coordinates care across its hospital and clinic sites for patients in the Gardner and North Quabbin areas.
