Heywood Medical Group

Heywood Medical Group is a nonprofit physician organization affiliated with Heywood Healthcare in north central Massachusetts. Its clinicians provide primary care, including family medicine and pediatrics, alongside specialty practices such as cardiology, endocrinology, orthopedics and obstetrics and gynecology. The group works with Heywood Hospital in Gardner and Athol Hospital in Athol to connect office visits with hospital services. Heywood Healthcare lists practice locations in Gardner, Athol, Ashburnham and Winchendon, bringing office-based care closer to several communities. Its outpatient role makes it a separate part of the regional health system rather than another name for either hospital.
