Nevada City School District

Nevada City School District is a public school district providing transitional kindergarten through eighth grade education in Nevada City, in California’s Sierra Nevada foothills. Deer Creek Elementary School serves the early grades, while Seven Hills Middle School serves fourth through eighth grades. The district combines core academic instruction with enrichment in art, physical activity, library skills and technology. Its programs also include special education, student support and before- and after-school child care at both campuses. The district office is on Hoover Lane, and a local governing board directs its policies and educational priorities.
