Nevada Joint Union High School District

Nevada Joint Union High School District is a public secondary school district serving western Nevada County in California’s Sierra Nevada foothills. Its two comprehensive high schools, Nevada Union and Bear River, offer academic, arts, agriculture and career technical programs. Ghidotti Early College High School combines secondary instruction with courses at Sierra College’s Nevada County campus, allowing students to work toward both a diploma and a college degree. The district also operates North Point Academy’s independent study program and Silver Springs High School’s continuation program. Adult education provides additional routes to a high school diploma, English language study and equivalency testing.
