New Jersey Blood Services

New Jersey Blood Services is the New Jersey blood-services division of New York Blood Center, Inc., a nonprofit blood collection and distribution organization. It recruits volunteer donors and supplies blood products for patients receiving hospital care in New Jersey and the surrounding region. Its work includes blood, platelet and plasma collection at donor centers, together with community blood drives. The Scotch Plains donor center is one of its established New Jersey collection sites. The division also works with schools and community groups to encourage regular donations. Donors schedule appointments and access eligibility information through New York Blood Center’s shared website.
