NorthBay Health

NorthBay Health is a nonprofit health care organization based in Solano County, California. Its hospital network includes NorthBay Medical Center in Fairfield and NorthBay VacaValley Hospital in Vacaville, alongside primary care, urgent care and outpatient services. The organization provides specialty care in areas such as cancer treatment, heart and vascular medicine, orthopedics and neuroscience. Local civic leaders and physicians founded it in 1959, and its first hospital began treating patients in 1960. VacaValley Hospital opened in 1987 after a community fundraising effort. NorthBay remains locally managed, connecting its hospitals, physicians and other facilities to serve residents of the surrounding communities.
