Onslow Water and Sewer Authority

The Onslow Water and Sewer Authority is a regional public utility based in Jacksonville, North Carolina. It provides drinking water and wastewater services across parts of Onslow County, operating water mains, wastewater infrastructure and treatment facilities. ONWASA reports a 445-square-mile water service area, while its sewer service covers a smaller set of communities. The authority was formed in 2000 through a cooperative consolidation of local systems and operates without taxing or land-use powers.
