Penacook Place

Penacook Place is a nursing and rehabilitation center in Haverhill, Massachusetts, serving people who need short-term recovery care or ongoing nursing support. Local clergy founded the center in 1968 to care for older and ill residents of the community. Its programs include rehabilitation following a hospital stay and long-term skilled nursing. The center also offers memory care, temporary respite stays and palliative services within a Catholic care tradition. It operates at 150 Water St., where a June 2026 public notice identified 160 skilled nursing beds. That notice announced a proposed transfer to OC Penacook Center LLC, with the location, bed capacity and services intended to remain unchanged.
