Sage Water Resources

Sage Water Resources is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sage Energy Partners that operates oilfield wastewater infrastructure in Utah’s Uinta Basin. The company manages the Blue Bench 13-1 saltwater disposal facility near Duchesne, where produced water from oil and gas operations is received and injected underground through a permitted disposal well. Sage Energy Partners says it invested about $6 million to modernize the site and increased its permitted disposal capacity from roughly 1,400 to 22,000 barrels per day. The facility is certified by the Ute Indian Tribe Energy and Minerals Department and is subject to state and federal environmental and injection-reporting requirements. Sage describes the business as Native American-owned and operated.
