Saydel Community School District

Saydel Community School District is a public school district based in unincorporated Polk County north of Des Moines, Iowa, serving the Saydel area and parts of surrounding communities. The district operates Cornell Elementary School, Woodside Middle School and Saydel High School. Iowa Department of Education data reported a certified enrollment of approximately 856 students for the 2024–25 school year. Saydel is governed by an elected Board of Education, with district administrators overseeing instruction, student services, transportation, facilities and other operations.
