Seminole County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller

The Seminole County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller is an independently elected constitutional office serving Seminole County, Florida. It manages records and administrative functions for circuit and county courts, including civil and criminal case processing, jury management and collection of court-related fees. As county recorder, the office records and indexes deeds, mortgages and other official documents. Its comptroller responsibilities include accounting, financial reporting, investments and auditing county expenditures. The office also serves as clerk to the Board of County Commissioners, maintaining meeting minutes, ordinances, resolutions and contracts, and provides marriage-license and passport-application services.
