Sanford is a city in Seminole County in central Florida, on the southern shore of Lake Monroe. Its historic downtown includes brick streets, shops and nineteenth-century houses. The RiverWalk follows the waterfront beside parks and marina facilities. Interstate 4 and State Road 417 connect Sanford with the wider Orlando area.
