St. Mary’s Health System

St. Mary’s Health System is a nonprofit Catholic health care organization in Lewiston, Maine, serving Androscoggin County. The Sisters of Charity of Saint-Hyacinthe founded its local ministry in 1888, and it is now a member of Covenant Health. The system combines an acute-care community hospital with primary and specialty practices, urgent care and an emergency department. Behavioral and mental health treatment is provided through hospital and outpatient services. Its eldercare community, d’Youville Pavilion, offers rehabilitation, long-term skilled nursing and memory care. The hospital is at 93 Campus Ave., anchoring a network that connects inpatient treatment with outpatient care and support for older adults.
