Stop & Shop

Stop & Shop is a supermarket chain serving the northeastern United States and part of Ahold Delhaize’s U.S. grocery business. Founded in 1914, it operates stores in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York and New Jersey. The chain sells groceries and fresh foods through stores and online ordering, with pickup and delivery at participating locations. Many stores also provide pharmacy services. Its community programs include support for regional food banks and more than 270 school food pantries. Those programs extend its role beyond grocery retail in the neighborhoods it serves.
