Ahold Delhaize

Ahold Delhaize is a Dutch food retail group that operates supermarket and online grocery brands in the United States and Europe, with additional joint venture activity in other markets. Formed in 2016 through the merger of Royal Ahold and Belgium’s Delhaize Group, it brings together retail businesses with histories dating to the 19th century. Its local brands sell groceries and household goods through stores, digital platforms and delivery services. The group supports those brands with shared purchasing, technology and supply chain operations while they serve customers under their own names. Among its U.S. businesses are Food Lion, Giant Food, Hannaford and Stop & Shop.
