Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso is a public university in the Texas Tech University System, operating under the name Texas Tech Health El Paso. It became an independent university in 2013 after developing as a regional campus of the Lubbock health sciences center. Its medical, nursing, biomedical sciences and dental schools prepare health professionals and researchers in the U.S.-Mexico border region. The university combines education and research with clinical services, including Texas Tech Physicians of El Paso and its dental clinic. Its campus is in south-central El Paso, within the binational metropolitan area formed by El Paso and Ciudad Juárez.
