Town of Bar Nunn

The Town of Bar Nunn is the municipal government of a Natrona County community north of Casper, Wyoming. An elected council oversees local ordinances, finances and public meetings, while town staff administer water, sewer and garbage service and maintain community parks. The town also has a municipal court and coordinates local law enforcement with the county sheriff. Bar Nunn incorporated in 1982 after residents of the former Bar Nunn Ranch subdivision sought better street and snow removal services. The neighborhood was built on the site of Wardwell Field, and some former airport runways became town streets.
