Town of Edisto Beach

The Town of Edisto Beach governs a coastal community on Edisto Island, South Carolina, that was incorporated in 1970. Its mayor and four council members set municipal policy, while a town administrator directs day-to-day operations. Town departments provide police and fire protection, sanitation, public works, building oversight and zoning administration.
