U.S. Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority

The U.S. Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority is a territorial agency that supports investment and business development across the islands. Established in 2001, it brought several economic development functions under one governing body. Its programs include tax incentives administered through the Economic Development Commission, financing through the Economic Development Bank and facilities for businesses in industrial parks. The authority also works with enterprise zones and small businesses to encourage commercial activity and property rehabilitation. It maintains offices on St. Croix and St. Thomas to serve applicants and businesses throughout the territory.
