Merrimack County network security incident
Public report preview
Merrimack County, New Hampshire, confirmed unauthorized activity after a network security incident disrupted county systems, temporarily blocked dispatchers from criminal-records data and forced the Register of Deeds to accept only paper filings in person or by mail. The deeds office still published that paper-only restriction September 2, while dispatch call taking and emergency response remained fully functional. Any personal-data breach, ransomware involvement and attribution remain unresolved.
