Antrim County is in the northern part of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula. Bellaire is the county seat. The county comprises 15 townships, including Elk Rapids, Forest Home, Kearney, Mancelona and Torch Lake. It was established in 1840 and renamed Antrim in 1843.
