Location overview
Burlington County is a county in southern New Jersey with its seat in Mount Holly. Its communities extend from the Delaware River side of the state into the wooded Pinelands. Agriculture, including cranberry and blueberry cultivation, and riverfront industry helped shape its development. Historic places in the county include the former prison in Mount Holly, Smithville in Eastampton and the industrial community of Roebling.
