Clark County is in southern Nevada. Las Vegas is its county seat and largest city. The county was created in 1909. Its communities include Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Boulder City and Mesquite. The Las Vegas Valley includes the unincorporated community of Paradise and is surrounded by mountain ranges, including the Spring Mountains to the west.
