Giles County occupies the hills and valleys of south-central Tennessee along the Alabama border, with Pulaski serving as its county seat. Its incorporated communities also include Ardmore, Elkton, Lynnville and Minor Hill, surrounded by farms, woodlands and smaller settlements. Richland Creek and other waterways drain toward the Elk River and support a landscape of rolling countryside, caves and outdoor recreation. Giles County had an estimated population of 31,433 in 2025, about 3.6% above the 2020 estimates base. Manufacturing, particularly automotive components, metals, plastics and food products, is important alongside agriculture, logistics, health care and retail.
