Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas, USA

Jonesboro is a city on Crowley’s Ridge in northeastern Arkansas and one of Craighead County’s two county seats. It is home to Arkansas State University, whose origins date to an agricultural school established in 1909. The city developed as a commercial center for surrounding agricultural communities and remains a regional center for education, health care and industry. Craighead Forest Park provides a wooded lake and trails on the city’s southern side.
