Chino, San Bernardino County, California, USA
Municipality
Location overview
Chino is a city in southwestern San Bernardino County, California, near the borders of Los Angeles and Orange counties. Its flat valley setting places residential neighborhoods, commercial corridors and large industrial districts between the Chino Hills and the wider Inland Empire. The community developed from ranching and agriculture and later became nationally associated with dairy farming. Chino incorporated in 1910 and grew rapidly as metropolitan Los Angeles expanded eastward. Logistics, manufacturing, retail and regional commuting now dominate an economy once centered on farms and dairies.
