Menan is a city in Jefferson County in eastern Idaho’s Upper Snake River Valley. The city dates its founding to 1879. A canal along Main Street reflects the community’s agricultural history and its former flour-milling industry. The nearby Menan Buttes are extinct volcanic cones that rise above the surrounding valley.
