Location overview
Dunstable is a small rural town in northern Middlesex County, Massachusetts, along the New Hampshire border. Wooded land, farms, low-density neighborhoods and the Salmon Brook valley define much of its landscape. The town was incorporated in 1673 and retains a traditional historic center surrounded by open countryside. Gradual suburban growth has occurred without erasing the settlement pattern of roads, fields and scattered homes. Dunstable is closely connected with nearby Nashua, Lowell and Groton for employment, shopping and regional services.
