Patriot Regional Emergency Communications Center

The Patriot Regional Emergency Communications Center, also known as Patriot RECC or PRECC, is a joint regional public-safety answering and dispatch service for Ashby, Dunstable, Groton, Pepperell and Townsend, Massachusetts. The member towns established it through an intermunicipal agreement and govern it through a board with representatives from each community. Pepperell conducts day-to-day operations, provides and supervises staff and facilities, and carries the center’s recommended budget through its municipal budget process. PRECC is therefore a distinct regional shared-service operation administered through Pepperell, not a separate municipality.
