Greenville is a city in Montcalm County, Michigan, on the Flat River northeast of Grand Rapids. A traditional downtown, residential neighborhoods, parks and nearby lakes give it the character of a small regional center. Settled in the 1840s, Greenville later became closely associated with refrigerator manufacturing and adopted the nickname Refrigerator Capital of the World.
