Humboldt, Richardson County, Nebraska, USA

Humboldt is a city in Richardson County in southeastern Nebraska. Its original townsite was platted in 1868, and the city incorporated in 1873. Land donated in 1871 formed its central public square. A bandstand added in 1912 and the community’s fair celebrations made the square a focus of local life.
