Anthony, Doña Ana County, New Mexico, USA

Anthony is a city in Doña Ana County, New Mexico, on the Texas border in the Upper Mesilla Valley. Interstate 10 runs along its eastern side, while the railroad and State Highway 478 mark its western edge. Historic trade routes crossed the area, including El Camino Real through the community and the Butterfield Trail just to its north. Residents voted to incorporate in January 2010, and the city formally began on July 1 of that year. Anthony lies south of Las Cruces and north of El Paso, Texas.
