New Bremen is a village in Auglaize County in western Ohio. German immigrants established the community during the 1830s. The Miami and Erie Canal later helped connect its farms and businesses to wider markets. Remnants of the canal run through the village center. A restored lockkeepers house interprets the former waterway.
