Crown Equipment

Crown Equipment Corporation is a privately held manufacturer of forklifts and material-handling equipment headquartered in New Bremen, Ohio. Brothers Carl H. Dicke and Allen A. Dicke founded the company there in 1945. It began producing lift trucks in 1960 and remains led by the Dicke family. Crown makes electric and internal-combustion lift trucks and many of their components, including motors, drive units and electronic modules. Its products and services also include batteries, fleet-management technology, warehouse solutions and equipment support. Company-owned and independent dealers provide sales and service in international markets.
