Central Point, Jackson County, Oregon, USA

Central Point is a city in Jackson County in southwestern Oregon’s Rogue Valley. It lies north of Medford in the Bear Creek Valley. The community was named in 1852 for its position at a road junction. Central Point incorporated in 1889. Orchards and the timber industry helped shape its growth in the early and middle 20th century.
