Central Point School District 6

Central Point School District 6 is a public school district based in Central Point, Oregon. It serves Central Point, Gold Hill and Sams Valley through elementary, middle and high school programs, including Crater High School. Its educational offerings include two-way immersion, programs of choice and a primary school for younger pupils. Five elected community members serve four-year terms on its volunteer school board, which sets district direction. A superintendent oversees daily operations, long-range planning and preparation of the annual budget under the board’s direction. District administration is based on Ash Street in Central Point.
