Clear Lake, Deuel County, South Dakota, USA

Clear Lake is a city in eastern South Dakota and the seat of Deuel County. The county’s government has been based there since a successful 1890 vote moved the seat from Gary. A courthouse completed in the early 1890s was later replaced by the building whose cornerstone was laid in 1917. The community remains the location of the county courthouse and its administrative offices.
