Cookeville, Putnam County, Tennessee, USA

Cookeville is a city in Middle Tennessee and the county seat of Putnam County. It is a major employment, education, retail and health care center for the Upper Cumberland region. Interstate 40 and Tennessee Highway 111 meet at the city. Tennessee Technological University is a prominent local institution. Cookeville was first incorporated in 1856 and reincorporated in 1903.
