Ada County Sheriff's Office

The Ada County Sheriff’s Office is a county law enforcement agency in southwestern Idaho, headquartered in Boise. Its deputies patrol unincorporated Ada County and provide contracted policing for the cities of Eagle, Kuna and Star. The office operates the Ada County Jail and the countywide 911 emergency dispatch center, alongside court-related and administrative services. Its statutory duties include serving civil process, issuing concealed weapons permits and providing law enforcement on county waterways. Through sworn officers and professional staff, the agency supports detention, public safety communications and services for residents and justice partners across Idaho’s most populous county.
