Central Maine Healthcare

Central Maine Healthcare is an integrated health system based in Lewiston, Maine, serving communities in central, western and midcoast Maine. Its hospital network includes Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Bridgton Hospital and Rumford Hospital. A primary and specialty care practice organization connects those hospitals with outpatient care across the region. System services include cardiovascular care, trauma care, cancer treatment and the central Maine base of LifeFlight of Maine. Its network combines the flagship medical center’s specialized programs with community hospital and physician-practice services. Prime Healthcare Foundation became the system’s sole corporate member and parent when its acquisition closed in February 2026.
