Rumford Hospital

Rumford Hospital is a 25-bed nonprofit critical access hospital serving the River Valley community in western Maine. Based on Franklin Street in Rumford, it provides inpatient and outpatient services and emergency care around the clock. Its clinical services include primary care, diagnostic testing, medical and surgical nursing, women’s health care and ambulatory surgery. A swing-bed program provides skilled nursing services for patients who need that level of care. The hospital is part of Central Maine Healthcare, whose network also includes Central Maine Medical Center, Bridgton Hospital and primary and specialty practices. It belongs to the Prime Healthcare Foundation family of hospitals.
