Cucamonga Valley Water District

Cucamonga Valley Water District is an independent public water and wastewater agency headquartered in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Established in 1955 as the Cucamonga County Water District, it operates under Division 12 of the California Water Code. Its service territory includes Rancho Cucamonga and portions of Fontana, Ontario, Upland and unincorporated San Bernardino County. The district supplies drinking water from imported supplies, groundwater and local canyon and tunnel sources, and maintains wastewater collection infrastructure. A five-member elected board sets policy, while an appointed general manager oversees daily operations. Its administrative offices are at 10440 Ashford Street.
